**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Plan and coordinate all banquet events, including setup, service, and breakdown.
- Supervise banquet staff, providing training and support to ensure high-quality service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and presentation.
- Manage inventory and ordering of supplies necessary for events.
- Oversee cash handling procedures during events, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas before, during, and after events.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to enhance their experience.
- Implement safety and food handling protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations.

**Skills**
- Strong leadership abilities to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Experience in bartending and knowledge of beverage service is preferred.
- Proficient in food preparation techniques and food handling standards.
- Familiarity with cash handling processes within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Background in restaurant management with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to operate POS systems efficiently for order processing and payments.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and staff alike.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously during high-pressure situations.

The banquet manager will also be included in the premium tip pool.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
