**We are excited to be recruiting for a Banquet Manager at Inn at the Forks.**

Inn at the Forks is a sleek and stylish hotel set in The Forks historic site with guest rooms that feature a modern design, and some suites have waterfront views. SMITH is a contemporary restaurant featuring locally sourced ingredients, and Riverstone Spa is a full-service spa, both located within the hotel.

The primary function of a Banquet Manager is to directly oversee all Banquet Operations. Ensuring the highest standards of customer expectations and services are met and exceeded for every event, no matter the size. The Banquet Manager will ensure the efficient and profitable operation of the Banquet Department through the oversight and execution of ordering of supplies, inventory management, maintaining labour costs, staff relations, training & development as well as other administrative functions as required.

**Duties**:
1. Provide leadership to the banquet team, ensuring all aspects of BEO specifications are followed and completed.

2. Work closely with the Sales & Catering team regarding setup and execution of events.

3. Greet and liaison with event organizers/planners as they arrive on site and throughout their event.

4. Overseeing the banquet operation and maximize profitability, minimize legal liability, and ensure operations are in compliance with MLCC regulations, The Employment Standards Code, as well as all relevant legislation and by-laws governing a licensed food service establishment.

5. Direct quarterly staff meeting.

6. Organizing, recording, and reporting on a monthly inventory schedule, ensuring its accuracy, and troubleshooting any challenges.

7. Maintaining records of liquor transfers, ordering of alcohol, & maintaining par stock

8. Prepare weekly schedules in accordance with Labour Budget

**What you bring to the table**:
1. Previous Banquet Manager Experience (2+ Years)

2. Previous Banquet Supervising Experience (1-2 Years)

3. A positive and hardworking attitude

4. High attention to detail and organization

**Salary**: $43,000.00-$47,000.00 per year
