Dry Cleaning & Laundromat Front Desk Attendant **(10-20 hours per week) Must be available 12-8PM on weekdays and full-days on weekends, holidays and as needed - Starting Wage 17.20/HR**

We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Front Desk Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our business, providing excellent customer service to our valued customers.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers warmly and professionally.
- Accurately receive and record customer orders, including garment type, special instructions, and due dates.
- Process payments efficiently and accurately using cash, credit cards, and other accepted methods.
- Issue receipts and provide customers with order tracking information.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding pricing, services, and order status.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
- Assist with housekeeping duties as needed.
- Assist with garment sorting and preparation for cleaning.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

**Qualifications**:

- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication and active listening skills.
- Ability to work independently and multi-task.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with POS systems.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
- Prior experience in customer service
- Prior experience in the Dry Cleaning space is seen as an advantage.

** Successful Applicant must be located in Guelph, Ontario and be available to work year round. Must be able to reach our location in Downtown Guelph via their own transportation or the public transit which stops meters away from our location.**

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $17.20 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Dry cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 2 years (preferred)

**Location**:

- Guelph, ON N1H 4H2 (required)
