**Operations Manager**, reporting to the Director of Operations, will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of Gatsby Valet.Key responsibilities of the Operations Manager include direct supervision of the Operations Coordinator and their functions. They will serve as the primary point of contact for the clients they oversee. They will actively participate in weekly, monthly and quarterly meetings with both new and existing clients.
Additionally, they will serve as a point of contact for employees.The Operations Manager’s primary focus will be to ensure the smooth running of client locations, the corresponding shifts, maintain high standards among our staff while on-site, and promptly address any client needs or concerns.This position will operate in a hybrid manner, largely consisting of “in-person”, on-site workdays, but there are remote work opportunities as well.
- **Duties**:
**Client Relations**
- Client meetings - weekly, monthly and quarterly
- Complaint follow up
- Launching client new initiatives and programs

**Employees**
- Build relationships with Gatsby Valet employees
- Address employee concerns on site
- Direct staff to the appropriate department/resource for their concern

**Scheduling**
- Tier 1 schedule planning
- Tier 2 and 3 scheduling assistance
- Adjusting baseline in accordance with hotel occupancy and resume meetings/client requests

**Training & Coaching**
- Weekly coaching sessions with Operations Coordinator
- Training 24 hour scheduling team on best practices
- New hire training
- Employee retraining
- Event Manager / Site Manager training and follow up

**Damage Claims**
- Obtain completed damage claim form from site lead/supervisor
- Contact Client and Damage claim guest
- Coordinate repair with body shop
- Provide feedback to the client once the claim has been resolved

**Head Office Support**
- Address Time & Attendance questions from accounting team
- Time and attendance accountability calls with staff
- Assist with WSIB claims from a management perspective
- Work with the Admin Team to build efficiencies that benefit the overall operation
- Coordinate with Uniform Coordinator regarding uniform distribution & inventory management
- Troubleshoot Prk-Pro technology with the assistance of the app developer
- Employee digital tip-out

**Qualifications**
- Valid G driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- At least 2 years of experience in operations or training role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other software as required
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed
- Must have access to your own vehicle
