**JOB DESCRIPTION**

The Operations Coordinator is responsible to assist with the day-to-day management of company operations. In conjunction with the Equipment Manager, the Operations Coordinator will assist with organizational and administrative support as assigned, including receiving inbound product, working with vendors to submit purchases orders and organizing purchase orders in our inventory management software. The Operations Coordinator will be responsible to work with external vendors to order cases and packaging for equipment, and collaborate with team members on package design with safe storage and shipping in mind. Working closely with the Warehouse Manager and Transport Manager, the Operations Coordinator will assist to keep incoming product organized on the shop floor. In addition, the Operations Coordinator will regularly work on projects as assigned to improve the inventory. Reporting to the Equipment Manager, this position is comprised of an average 40-hour work week with the expectation that hours will be flexible and overtime may occur. This position is based out of our Toronto warehouse and is in-person/on-site.

**IMPACT**

This Operations Coordinator will be required to implement creative solutions when receiving and packaging new equipment. The receiving procedure will have a direct impact on the longevity of our rental equipment, and how that equipment is processed effectively in the warehouse.

**Key Duties**

Purchasing:

- Work with existing vendors to purchase equipment and supplies.
- Find new vendors when new products or supplies are required.
- Create and manage purchase orders in our inventory management software.
- Create and update inventory products and packages as required in conjunction with the creation of purchase orders, with guidance from other team members.
- Notify the relevant parties of incoming equipment on PO’s that may need review, QC, or design input to be prepared for the rental inventory.

Receiving/Packaging:

- Receive (tag, label, and brand) and internally distribute product that ships into the Toronto warehouse location.
- Maintain a sound knowledge of our inventory management software, which will be used to receive new product and update existing product.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment in the receiving workshop, and the inbound product area in the warehouse.
- Maintain stock levels of tools, hardware, and consumables within the receiving workshop and assist others to replenish stock as necessary.
- In conjunction with other stakeholders, design packaging solutions for new and existing products in the rental inventory to protect the product during shipping and storage.

General Duties:

- Manage timelines and set priorities for task completion based on upcoming project or job-related needs of the company.
- Attend team meetings and provide feedback on timelines, new ideas, and current issues.
- Occasionally lead a small team to assist with receiving and other inventory related special projects.
- Maintain a sound knowledge of the Company’s RFID technologies.
- Organize detailed tasks and projects in the Company’s task management software.
- Organize detailed lists and data in the Company’s spreadsheet software.
- Occasionally assist with the cutting lumber and sheet goods using the tools in the receiving workshop.
- Assist the warehouse team as needed.

Key Requirements
- Previous workshop experience is preferred.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of software.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability think critically and creatively.
- Familiarity with A/V equipment is preferred.
