- **Duties & Responsibilities**_
1. Plant maintenance
- Ensure upkeep of the plant
- Ensure ongoing compliance with food safety, workplace safety, and other applicable legal and regulatory requirements
2. Fleet maintenance
- Ensure our fleet and fleet records are in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements
- Assign daily routes to trucks and drivers in ELD system; generate necessary reports on a timely basis
- Handle all CVOR, vehicle licenses and insurance renewals
3. Vendor management
- Conduct periodic review of existing vendors
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors
- Ensure timely completion of work orders incl. engaging and coordinating with vendors
- Understand organizational priorities and negotiate with vendors to maximize cost efficiency
4. Operations support
- Provide operational support to the picking, loading, and receiving of products
- Provide administrative support incl. maintenance of the inventory management system, management of master data, and the production of relevant operational reports
- Provide planning and work management support
- Investigate and analyze delivery errors and derive solutions accordingly
- **Skills & Requirements**_
- Diploma in business, supply chain management, administration or related field of study is preferred.
- Previous experience in the food distribution industry is an asset.
- Good command of MS Office; experience in inventory management software is a plus;
- Strong communication and problem solving/analysis skills.
- Detailed oriented, has a strong sense of priority along with the ability to work independently and as a part of a team;
- Self starter, proactive and fast learner;
- Ability to speak both English and Cantonese/Mandarin is an asset.
