As an Outside Parts Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and fostering long-term relationships with customers in the trucking and transportation sector. You will be responsible for promoting and selling New Metador's extensive range of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts to both existing and potential clients. Your primary focus will be on generating new business opportunities, meeting sales targets, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

**Responsibilities**:

- Identify and prospect new customers in the trucking and transportation industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to maximize sales and promote customer loyalty.
- Conduct regular client visits to understand their needs, recommend suitable parts, and provide technical assistance when required.
- Actively pursue leads and follow up on inquiries to generate sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with the internal sales team to coordinate and fulfill customer orders efficiently.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, product knowledge, and competitor information.
- Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to expand business connections and promote the brand.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in outside sales, preferably in the heavy-duty truck and trailer parts industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with customers and build relationships.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Self-motivated and result-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to provide technical assistance and recommendations to customers.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer locations within the assigned territory.
