Lowry Sales is an independent distributor supplying multiple international brands of products to a very diverse customer base. We are currently seeking a Full-Time Outside Sales Representative in Edmonton, Alberta.

- Full time position, Monday to Friday 8am - 4:30pm.

Under the supervision of the Branch/Sales Manager, the duties and responsibilities of the Outside Sales Representative include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Develop and execute an effective sales strategy to target new accounts for industrial goods customers and sporting goods customers.
- Cold calling, prospecting and identifying new business opportunities.
- Manage seasonal booking orders for sporting goods, ensuring timely and accurate fulfilment of customer needs.
- Travel to existing and potential customers in Edmonton and surrounding areas.
- Manages a base of existing accounts, while focusing on territory growth.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with industrial and sporting goods customers.
- Responds to customer inquiries promptly and provides exceptional service.
- Prepares and delivers sales presentations to prospective customers.
- Maintains detailed notes and records to track customer interactions and orders, performs order entry and administrative duties.
- Negotiates and prepares contracts and closes sales to meet or exceed sales targets.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required, Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing or a related field is preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Ability to travel overnight.
- Minimum three (3) years of outside sales experience, preferably in the industrial or sporting goods market.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Demonstrated experience calling on OEM, MRO, and Manufacturing sectors.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and adaptable to changing priorities.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, with strong organizational and time management skills to effectively balance competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor conversations to a variety of audiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Team Player with a positive attitude to work harmoniously with all internal and external contacts.
- Professional appearance and conduct.
- Strong computer skills, with intermediate proficiency in Office 365 and ERP systems.
- Experience with SAP B1 is an asset.
