MRM has an exciting opportunity to work on one of our top global accounts as the Events Manager. This role oversees and manages the Area Events team.

**What is this role, and how does it positively impact the business?**

The Events Manager has day to day responsibility for the Events team which operationalizes both in-person and virtual events throughout the year. The Events team plays a major role in ensuring the success of these events and driving continual improvement and measurement of future events.

Your core day-to-day responsibilities include:
**Team Management**:oversee the events team which includes both in-person and virtual event coordinators. This includes on-boarding team members as well as the continued development and training of this team. This role ensures that the team is briefed on all area and global initiatives.

**Stakeholder Engagement**: Engages with functional stakeholders to set expectations on service delivery. Provides consultative support and recommendations, collaborating with Area leads and HQ.

**Global Community Engagement**:Shares best practices with Area Team Lead and Functional leads across the region and participates in community calls.

**Best Practice Sharing**: Curates and showcases Area finding and practices and shares these with the global community.

**Required Competencies/Skills**:

- Proven skills in written and verbal communications
- Intermediate to advanced project management strategies and tools
- Basic business, systems, and process analysis
- Demonstrated understanding of event marketing and the tools and platforms that support it.
- Ability to articulate and evangelize services with stakeholders
- Relationship management, collaboration and conflict resolution skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft brand and products

**Required Experience**:

- University degree preferred
- 4-7 years solid event, marketing communications (agency or client side), business operations or business consulting experience
- People/team management experience required
