About SSG Events:
SSG Events is a fast-growing international event management company expanding into North America. We produce high-profile events across fashion, energy, technology, and sustainability, with projects spanning Europe, Middle East, Asia, North America and Latin America. We're looking for passionate, motivated individuals who are excited about the event industry and eager to grow with an international team.
The Role:
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, adaptable event enthusiast who is comfortable working independently and contributing to a variety of event projects. While relevant experience is an asset, the enthusiasm, passion, initiative, and the ability to deliver results are most important for this role.
You may work independently as a consultant/independent contractor or collaborate with our team on multiple events and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
-Support events from A–Z, within your scope and capacity
-Assist with content creation and social media management
-Perform data entry, marketing, and campaign coordination
-Support graphic design and event material preparation
-Assist in speaker outreach and acquisition
-Contribute to overall event planning, execution, and follow-up
-Travel occasionally for international events
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree(or equivalent) in Event Management, Hospitality, Public Relations, or a related field
-Strong interest in the event industry, marketing, and communications
-Experience or interest in social media management, campaigning, or event sales
-Ability to work as an independent contractor or a consultant on individual projects
-Strong multitasking, organizational, and communication skills
