Navitas is seeking to employ a
**Project Administrator** to join our North American team in Burnaby, British Columbia.
The Project Administrator will support a variety of local and global projects across Navitas’ business operations. The position will work closely with Navitas staff across all aspects of pathway operations including marketing, recruitment, admissions, academics, student support, facilities, IT, and finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Admissions verification and compliance on the Letter of Acceptance Portal with IRCC for all Canadian colleges
- Project administration of corporate and operational business projects across Navitas North America, with support of the North American Leadership Team
- Administration and roll out of project communications, resource and work plans, processes, policy and procedure development; and facilitate communications between project teams, relevant stakeholders, Navitas staff globally and other relevant parties
- Identify best practice in common services, processes and systems and develop and maintain a repository of documentation of these processes and procedures
- Provide general administrative support to project teams, including scheduling, filing and coordination of project related activities
- Assist in preparation of project-related presentations and reports
- Use of CSM and Admissions platforms such as Salesforce and StudyLink
- Work across multiple time zones (i.e. India, China, Australia)
- Willing and able to travel as needed
Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Post-secondary education in business, project management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 1-2 years project support experience, preferably in a corporate or higher education environment
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to communicate and interact effectively and professionally with staff at all levels and adjust communication style to meet varying needs
- High degree of computer literacy, including advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel.
- Experience with operational launches or in a start-up environment
- Ability to motivate a project team, work flexibly in an environment of large volume work flows and critical deadlines and a hands-on approach to problem solving
- Attention to detail, strong skills in project planning and fact-based analysis
- Demonstrated administrative and organizational skills
- Proactive and a self-starter
- Valid passport and ability to travel within the US and Canada
- Legal right to work in the USA or Canada
Desirable Skills
- Aptitude and knowledge in the use of Salesforce
- Prior professional work experience within the international education or higher education industry
- Prior experience in recruitment and admissions, change management or communications planning
- Broad understanding of multiple areas of education operations, including admissions, recruitment, IT, finance, and marketing
- Experience coordinating projects within multiple stakeholder groups
- Interest in obtaining the Project Management Professional designation or other relevant project management qualifications
