Description

In this role, you will work directly with Fortinet's MIS Project Management Team for IT Deployments. You will be responsible for assisting Project Managers with conducting finance and legal reviews, submitting purchase requests, and ensuring that internal databases are kept up to date.  You will work assisting the Project Managers to create detailed reports in regards to project budget, and purchase request status updates. You will gather and provide requested information to Fortinet's procurement review team, helping to ensure that purchases and contracts are executed in accordance with company procedures and industry best practices.

Duration- 12 months Contract

Job Responsibilities:

  • Raise Purchase Orders for services and materials.
  • Submit contracts for legal review, and provide follow-up.
  • Maintain internal Project Management databases.
  • Create or maintain regular and ad-hoc reports.
  • Attend in person meetings, and conference calls on a regular basis with the project management team.
  • Update Procedures, Best Practices, and Lessons Learned with input from the Project Management team. The ability to initiate or create is a bonus.

Job Skills Required: 

  • 2+ years of Project Admin Experience in an IT Environment. 
  • This is a year long contract
  • Some technical knowledge or understanding on computers, servers, network devices (like routers, switches)
  • Exceptional organizational, written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Able to read, interpret, and understand legal contracts is a bonus
  • Strong professional presence 
  • Comfortable working in a team environment. 
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks at once. 
  • Able to adapt to changes. 
  • Strong documentation capability and office software skills like excel, outlook, word and HTML editing. 
  • Experience with project management tools like Microsoft Projects, Smartsheet, or similar.
  • Attitude and willingness to get things done for assigned tasks and work under pressure.

Educational Requirement: 

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Technology Management or other related technical disciplines. MBA is a plus. 
  • PMI-CAPM, PMI-ACP, or CCNA is a bonus

The Canada base salary range for this contract full-time position is expected to be between $80,000 - $90,000 annually.  Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level.  Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate's subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, and experience.
