**The Opportunity**
As a Junior Product Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting the Product Managers in developing and managing specialized products and packages while ensuring that information is correctly transmitted and that sales and market trends are evaluated.
**How You Will Be Spending Your Time**
- Assist Product Managers in understanding market needs to develop products tailored to their respective expectations
- Develop and organize vacation packages in accordance to market needs
- Manage reservations for transportation, accommodation and other services and follow up throughout the season
- Keep abreast of the current events within destinations and manage the repercussions of extraordinary situations (strikes, natural disasters, etc.)
- Follow up on sales and take the steps to maximize the profitability of the product
- Ensure product training for reservations agents (new or ongoing)
- Provide required information to support our documentation service
- Ensure superior customer service to all travel agents and colleagues
- Handle account follow up with suppliers
- All other related tasks as required
**You May Occasionally Be Required To**
- Assist with FIT quotes and bookings
- Assist Sales team in various projects
- Create trip itineraries
- Book all providers/suppliers based on contract, including flights, hotels, tours, etc.
- Track inventory and/or reserved blocks based on release dates
- Follow-up daily with suppliers to respond to questions, problems, etc.
- All other related tasks as required
**The Skills, Experience and Requirements You Need to be Successful**
- Travel/Tourism diploma
- Minimum 3+ years of related work experience
- Show autonomy, initiative and resourcefulness
- Results and detail oriented and able to work well under pressure and with deadlines
- Bilingual (French and English), both written and spoken
- Problem solving skills
- Multi-tasking, organizational and time management skills
- Superior communication and presentation skills
- Good knowledge of MS Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Sabre
- Knowledge of appropriate destination required
- Occasional Travel
- Overtime may be required (and/or nights and weekends)

En tant que spécialiste de produit junior, vous serez chargé d'assister les chefs de produit dans le développement et la gestion de produits et de forfaits spécialisés, tout en s'assurant que les informations sont correctement transmises et que les tendances des ventes et du marché sont évaluées.
**Comment vous allez passer votre temps**
- Assister les chefs de produits dans la compréhension des besoins du marché afin de développer des produits adaptés à leurs attentes respectives.
- Développer et organiser des forfaits vacances en fonction des besoins du marché.
- Gérer les réservations de transport, d'hébergement et d'autres services et en assurer le suivi tout au long de la saison.
- Se tenir informé de l'actualité dans les destinations et gérer les répercussions des situations extraordinaires (grèves, catastrophes naturelles, etc.).
- Assurer le suivi des ventes et prendre les mesures nécessaires pour maximiser la profitabilité du produit.
- Assurer la formation des agents de réservation aux produits (nouveaux ou en cours).
- Fournir les informations nécessaires pour soutenir notre service de documentation
- Assurer un service à la clientèle supérieur à tous les agents de voyages et collègues.
- Assurer le suivi des comptes avec les fournisseurs

- Assister à la préparation des devis et des réservations FIT.
- Assister l'équipe des ventes dans divers projets
- Créer des itinéraires de voyage
- Réserver tous les prestataires/fournisseurs sur la base du contrat, incluant les vols, les hôtels, les excursions, etc.
- Suivi des inventaires et/ou des blocs réservés basés sur les délais prescrits
- Assurer un suivi quotidien auprès des fournisseurs pour répondre aux questions, aux problèmes, etc.

**Les compétences, l'expérience et les exigences dont vous avez besoin pour réussir**
- Diplôme en voyages/tourisme
- Minimum 3+ ans d'expérience professionnelle connexe
- Faire preuve d'autonomie, d'initiative et de créativité.
- Orienté vers les résultats et les détails, capable de travailler sous pression et de respecter les délais.
- Bilingue (français et anglais), à l'écrit comme à l'oral
