**Hours of Work**:Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm, 40 hours per week

**Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000**

**Position Overview (Job Purpose)**:
The role of Junior Compliance Analyst provides client and internal support across multiple brands and products. The Junior Compliance Analyst works with other members of the team to manage Company and client flows and support internal and external clients in a variety of capacities including administration, onboarding, underwriting, risk research, investigation, and reporting.

This role includes client onboarding and management, extensive transaction monitoring, regular account review, as well as client and regulatory reporting. This role is responsible for providing support to the Senior members of the team for a variety of tasks.

This role requires the ability to coordinate and communicate with clients to ensure all commitments are met in compliance with all government and industry standards. An understanding of the Canadian financial services regulatory landscape and knowledge of emerging blockchain technologies are considered an asset.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Client Relationship Management
- Primary point of contact for assigned clients
- Client intake, setup and onboarding
- Regular monitoring of client sanction, PEP and Adverse Media
- Create and maintain client forms, documents, policies
- Provide support for client risk assessments based on client information
- Track client training requirements and renewals, provide client training as required
- Liaise with other departments to meet client needs including Audit Specialists, QA and Training
- Banking
- Understand client banking needs and options
- Liaise with banking support
- Provide support to Senior Compliance Analyst
- Underwriting Merchants
- Gather required documents for underwriting process
- Transaction Reviews & FINTRAC Reporting
- Review transactions regularly to identify reportable or suspicious transactions and identity applicable reporting (EFTR, LCTR, LVCTR, STR, UAR)
- File reports with FINTRAC or FINCEN as required (daily, weekly, etc.)
- Complete forensic wallet checks
- Upload report copies to client database
- Administrative
- Completion and filing of documentation per Company protocols
- Maintaining CRM records for all client communication and deliverables

**Qualifications**:
Education and Experience:

- University Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Any relevant experience in compliance and risk management, FinTech and crypto businesses

Certifications:

- ACAMS in view
- Chainalysis Reactor in view

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Knowledge of AML/ ATF regulations and risk mitigation
- Knowledge of KYC and reporting requirements from FINTRAC and FinCEN
- Knowledge of blockchain technologies
- Adaptable, willing to learn quickly within fast paced startup environment
- Ability to work on multiple tasks with quick turnaround times, while managing interruptions and changing priorities
- Working knowledge of computer programs, specifically MS Office Suite, Google Suite, Comply Advantage, World Check, Merkle Science, HubSpot
- Ability to read and write in English, multilingual would be an asset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong decision making, analytical and problem solving skills

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
