About the Role
We're looking for a Junior Product Designer to join our growing design team. In this role, you'll contribute to shaping intuitive, accessible, and visually compelling experiences for Absorb's learning solutions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, take ownership of well-defined projects, and help evolve our design system while deepening your craft.
What You'll Do
- Translate requirements into clear, user-centered designs across web and mobile
- Prototype and iterate on ideas to improve usability and interaction flows
- Conduct and synthesize research to validate design decisions
- Contribute to and maintain design system components for consistency
- Explore multiple solutions and advocate for best practices in UX and UI
- Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to ensure seamless delivery
- Use modern design tools and methods, including AI-assisted workflows
What You'll Bring
- 1–3 years of experience in product or UX/UI design, preferably in SaaS or enterprise software
- Strong portfolio showcasing thoughtful design solutions and interaction patterns
- Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with design systems and responsive design
- Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and usability principles
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Growth mindset and ability to balance user needs with business goals
