**Manager, Market Expansion & New Product Specialist**

We are currently looking for a **Manager, Market Expansion & New Product Specialist**
Reporting to the Vice President, Business Development, the Manager, Market Expansion & New Product Specialist is responsible for the service and growth of Vista’s network of Residential New Construction (“RNC”) and retrofit HVAC dealers and expansion outside of Ontario, the growth of Vista’s EV Charger program, and introduction of new products that fit our core business including net zero and near zero growth targets.
You will identify new products and geographic markets to support the company’s rental growth ambitions in Ontario and across Canada. You are a polished self-starter that expertly leverages industry channel partners to identify new partners and customers. You are looking for creative ways to achieve and generate positive business outcomes.
A true professional focused on creating and introducing new products to the market. You will work out of a home office in the Greater Toronto Area and travel across Canada to open new doors for the company as required.
Representing the company, you participate in numerous industry associations such as Building Industry and Land Development Association (“BILD”), Ontario Home Builders Association (“OHBA”), Residential Heating Ventilation Contractor Association (“RHVCA”) and Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Institute (“HRAI”) as well as seeking out and forging new relationships with suitable industry associations that mirror our market footprint.
**Responsibilities**
- Conducting market research and analysis to identify trends, gaps, and customer needs to generate new product ideas, and relaying this information to the Manager and other relevant stakeholders.
- Transforming ideas into viable concepts, identify suitable products, partners, and program models.
- Assist with the development process from concept to launch, ensuring that projects adhere to timelines and budgets.
- Work closely with operations, marketing, sales, and channel partners to ensure program feasibility, marketability, to help achieve the company’s growth target.
- Coordinate with local partners or teams in new markets for on-ground insights and strategy adaptation.
- Coordinating pilot testing to evaluate program performance.
- Collaborating with marketing and sales teams to plan and execute product launch strategies.
- Gathering channel partner and dealer feedback post-launch and make necessary product modifications or improvements.
- Managing partner relationships throughout the program development process and the ongoing rollout.
- Collaborate and strategize with builders, developers, manufacturers, suppliers, and channel partners to improve current offerings.
- Develop and execute new programs and/or program expansion outside of Ontario
- Attend workshops and refresher courses for new product technology
- Plan and assist with new product releases and events.
- Performing product demonstrations for customers, staff, and other stakeholders.
- Assisting with the development of business plans.
- Scheduling training sessions and attending meetings as required.
- Develop and manage channel partner relationships including builders, developers, manufacturers, suppliers, and installation/service providers.
- Achieve results against strategic and financial objectives.
**Skills and Knowledge**:
- Post-Secondary Diploma or Degree
- 4-8 years outbound B2B sales experience.
- Several years of experience in program/product development, project management, supporting dealer network programs, or a related field.
- Experience developing new product/program offerings from the ground up including partners, product selection, pricing, and marketing
- Strong knowledge of green energy products including solar, standby power, heat pumps, and electric vehicle charging
- Knowledge of the HVAC industry, financial products, and new home construction is an asset.
- Strong analytical skills, creativity, project management abilities, and proficiency in related software and tools.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (specifically Word, Excel, Acrobat, and PowerPoint).
- Superior organization skills with an ability to balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
