Inventory & Materials Management Coordinator

As our Inventory & Materials Management Coordinator, you are responsible for managing the movement of goods into, out and/or move within our premises, ensuring that shipments are handled efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with relevant regulations. You are a key player in ensuring the smooth flow of goods within a company, and their responsibilities are essential for maintaining efficient supply chain operations providing exceptional service to both internal and external customers.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**
**Shipping & Receiving** **Coordination**
- Inspect and verify goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods
- Receive internal and external deliveries of incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and coordinate with delivery drivers to ensure adequate dock space is available
- Enter data using ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system and ensure to close transactions upon completions of orders
- Assist in Return to Vendor (RTV) shipping and receiving process including verification, communication, following up on actions and completing transactions to bring inventory back into ACM
- Identification of the package owners, uploading of respective documents into the ERP and inspect received goods for damage or discrepancies and document any issues
- Maintain thorough records of all shipments, receipts, and inventory transactions for auditing purposes
- Coordinate with delivery drivers to ensure adequate dock space is available and load /unload materials using a forklift
- Address shipping and receiving issues promptly and proactively, working to resolve any delays, errors, or discrepancies
- Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers by responding to inquiries and resolving issues related to shipments or receipts
**Inventory & Materials Management Support**
- Perform cycle and Compare inventory data and locations to systems and track records through process
- Assist in coordinating and executing the kitting of materials for production
- Work with Inventory Team to ensure that inventory is in a constant state of accuracy
- Check cycle count data collected by location and inventory identification and report findings to ensure that any missing or incomplete data sets are validated and addressed
- Address inventory adjustment tickets in a timely manner while looking into the root cause of the issue
**Compliance & Safety**
- Collaborate with the Quality team to coordinate shipping samples
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs to ensure incoming and outgoing documentation has been properly documented
- Complete documentation such as cannabis material transfers and other cannabis regulation requirements
- Ensure to follow Health and Safety procedures and lead by example to foster a safe working environment
- Daily housekeeping tasks to ensure a safe and clean work environment
**OTHER DUTIES**
At Pure Sunfarms, we’re committed to ensuring we’re bringing the best we have to offer to our consumers. This means other duties may arise since we work together to ensure we support all business activities - seed to sale.
This role is on-site, which requires you to work in Pure Sunfarms facility at all times in an operating role or directly supporting operations.

**Your Experience**
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in warehouse facility and/or or industrial environment with understanding in supply chain workflow
**Your Approach & Strengths**
- Experience using Inventory Management Software, Warehouse Management System (WMS), and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
- Ability to lift and/or move materials up to 50 lbs and work in a standing up environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Good documentation practices capabilities, inventory hands-on experience and the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards
- Experience operating a forklift is an asset
- Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines and adapt to unexpected priorities
- Ability to take initiative and follow processes under mínimal supervision
- Must have the ability to maintain and pass an RCMP criminal record check and
