Production Control and Inventory Coordinator

Nature’s Path utilizes an enterprise resource planning system (IFS) to manage the integral parts of our business, manufacturing costs and lot traceability. The Production Planner & Inventory Coordinator is responsible for the production schedule for the raw materials, packaging materials and finished goods while ensuring that customer demands are met and that goods are produced and shipped in a cost-efficient and timely manner. This is completed through accurate and valid shop order processing, timely and accurate month end process and physical and virtual inventory counts.
**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
The duties and responsibilities represent the essential duties of the role but may not be limited to; other duties may be assigned by Production Manager.
- Plan and analyze orders, production schedules and tasks according to weekly top shop orders generated by Master scheduler.
- Develop internal planning schedule to meet the weekly master shop order and include all critical components such as sanitation, maintenance and training requirements.
- Accurate maintenance of daily inventory record levels through shop order planning, scheduling, execution, and closing.
- Review build of material availability and plan for manpower requirements to execute Shop orders.
- Regularly update production status to managers for any significant delays or interruption. Adjust production schedule when needed.
- Maintain reports for production planning activities and sequences.
- Monitoring daily the oil consumption & advise the buyer for the delivery.
- Perform IFS review and system maintenance with periodic review of IFS Inventory Queries for variance between physical inventory counts and IFS.
- Accurate and validate month end reporting
- Manage inventory levels and purchase non-IFS items on a timely basis
- Participate in IFS and Radley upgrades
- Other assigned duties may be assigned
**Requirements & Qualifications**
- Preferred 2-3 years’ experience as a Team Lead or Supervisor in a fast-paced environment
- 3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferably in food manufacturing
- Good working knowledge in GMP, HACCP and other food quality & safety related regulations
- Ability to effectively communicate at all levels within the organization
- Strong conflict resolution skills
- Strong business acumen, judgment, diplomacy and discretion
- Strong organization, multi-tasking, prioritization and time management skills
- Basic understanding of safety procedures
- Must be familiar with manufacturing control and scheduling software.
- Strong computer literacy with Microsoft Office
- Excellent attendance is a must
- Available to work weekends, evenings and on statutory holidays, as needed
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $48,800.00-$50,000.00 per year
