**Summary**:
The Installation Support/Warehouse Technician will be under the direction of the Installation Manager. In this role, you will have the opportunity of working full time as an embedded employee for Assa Abloy Entrance Systems Canada.

**Key Focuses**:

- Receiving and logging of all incoming materials, parts and shipments
- Generate reports documenting defective materials, shortages and overages
- Facilitate inventory management and inform management of low inventory; record inventory counts in computer systems
- Move freight to and from loading/unloading areas, delivery vehicles and storage areas, either manually or using equipment such as a forklift
- Follow written or oral instructions
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pick up according to schedule (pick, load, pack, wrap, label, stage and ship)
- Sort material during loading or unloading process.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, power tools, etc.
- Monitor and manage issues and discrepancies for all material processes.
- Self-motivating to want to learn more
- Maintain a clean shop area to ensure safety at all times
- Ability to use Microsoft software such as Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.
- Availability to work overtime, if required
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- The want to learn more about our products and company with a potential for AADM certification training to become an Install/Service Technician in the future, for the right person
- Transfer/deliver parts from the warehouse to Technicians on location (when required)

**Experience and Education**:

- Shipper/Receiver experience is an asset
- Ability to lift heavy materials
- Valid driver’s license
- Forklift experience required
- Loader with grapple experience is an asset
- Microsoft software experience is an asset

This is a full-time position located in Abbotsford, British Columbia.

The Warehouse Technician will be expected to work weekdays Monday to Friday.
