We are currently seeking a Security Systems Technician

**Responsibilities**:

- Prewire and terminate low voltage systems in new construction projects. (Communications, Security, CCTV, etc.)
- Install Access Control, Security Alarm Systems, ULC Fire Monitoring Systems and CCTV Systems.
- Troubleshoot/maintain electrical wiring, Access Control, Alarm, and CCTV Systems.
- Adhere to all quality and safety codes.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in electrical or other related fields considered an asset
- Successful applicant will hold a valid Electrical Class C-R (or higher) low energy (LO) or security alarm (SA) FSR's.
- Successful applicant will hold a Security Alarms Installer Trade Qualification (TQ).
- Security technicians will be required to hold or obtain a Security Worker's License (requires a criminal record check)
- Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools.
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Able to work and function as a productive team member.
- Class 5 driver's license with a clean abstract.

**Salary**: $22.00-$40.00 per hour

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Electrical, Security and/or fire alarm installation: 1 year (required)

- Electrical Class C-R Low Energy (required)
- Security Systems Technician Trade Qualification (TQ) (required)
