**Main Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and post customer invoices.
- Perform accounts receivables tasks, including sending out customer statements on a monthly basis.
- Prepare daily deposits of checks.
- Post vendor invoices.
- Process accounts payable checks, ACH, EFT and other payment methods.
- Bookkeeping for various real estate accounts
- Assisting in weekly payroll processing for multiple companies.
- Maintain accurate records of employee compensation.
- Reconcile ledger accounts on a monthly basis with the necessary documents.
- Prepare bank reconciliation on monthly basis.
- Process corporate credit cards on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and record all required journal entries for amortization and depreciation of assets.
- Prepare and file GST and QST reports.
- Prepare monthly reports for bank.
- Prepare the annual financial statements.
- Prepare required documents for year-end review engagements for external accounting firm.
- Prepare company tax returns (asset).
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.

**Requirements**:

- A college or university degree in Accounting is preferred.
- 2 or more years of experience in Accounting.
- Must be detail oriented and meticulous with data entry.
- Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Team Player.
- Highly Organized with ability to prioritize.
- Demonstrate independence, adaptability, a keen sense of organization and responsibility.
- Languages: have a good level of spoken and written English and French.
