**Inside Sales Representative (Contract)**

We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative, who is enthusiastic about the health and beauty industry to help accelerate our business to the next level.

You will be part of a team that welcomes and cultivates new ideas and approaches to selling and marketing our brands. You will join a fast-paced, experienced team who loves what they do because they are passionate about beauty. Check out farleyco.ca to learn more about the brands we represent.

We are looking for a self-motivated and well-spoken inside sales representative to join our sales team to service and grow our independent retailer network across Canada. The inside sales representative will be responsible for communicating with existing customers, calling new retailer leads, understanding customer needs, and ensuring a smooth sales process via our Shopify e-commerce website.

**Responsibilities**:

- Communicating with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers, and following up on leads.
- Understanding customers' needs and identifying sales opportunities.
- Keeping up with product information and promotion updates.
- Creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers.
- Work closely with our marketing, website, and order desk teams.
- Explaining and demonstrating features of products and services.
- Closing sales and achieving sales targets.

**Requirements**:

- Entry-level or some previous sales experience and/or outbound call center or related sales position preferred.
- Bilingual required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Excel
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
- Excellent phone and cold calling skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Strong listening and sales skills.
- Ability to achieve targets.

**Job Types**: Fixed term contract, Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 4 months

**Salary**: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 37.5 per week
