Inside Sales Representative

**JOB OBJECTIVE**
The role of the Inside Sales Representative is to work in conjunction with the outside Sales Agencies and the Sales Management team to ensure that the key sales initiatives and revenue targets are being achieved in the assigned territories, and that our Accounts are being provided with the highest level of customer service. Additionally, the associate will be responsible for finding, opening an onboarding new accounts in the assigned territory.
**NATURE AND SCOPE**
The Inside Sales Representative reports to the Inside Sales Manager and works closely with the Sales Agents and the Sales Management team to ensure all sales goals and targets are being achieved.
In this role you drive sales by providing sales support and solutions for our customers and Sales Agents. You ensure that company programs, policies, tools, and resources are effectively being rolled out and utilized by our Accounts and Sales Agents. You also ensure the effective onboarding of any new accounts, and you work with the Sales Management Team and Sales Agents to ensure that all sales goals defined on sales Scorecard are being achieved.
Critical to this position’s success will be the ability to build strong relationships with our Sales Agents and Accounts to understand their business, and provide proactive, outbound sales support.
**SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES**:
- Develop superior working relationships with assigned Sales Agents and Accounts.
- Help to find, open and onboard new accounts in assigned territory by utilizing the onboarding program
- Help to train and onboard new distributor reps within existing accounts
- Assist in the distribution of marketing materials (physical and digital) and ensure that customers are aware of any call to action associated with each marketing campaign.
- Support the Sales Reps and decoration CSR’s with pre-sale tasks e.g. quotes, virtuals, product and decoration recommendations, estimated turn times etc.
- Execute sales tactics that help support broader Stormtech sales initiatives to ensure that the Sales Agents are achieving all targets on their scorecards.
- Ensure accounts are informed of Stormtech’s current pricing, key contacts, policies, promotions, sales tools etc.
- Help to coordinate pre
- and post-meeting collateral to support our Agent’s PK’s and key tradeshows, including end-user specific virtuals, storyboards, samples, spec samples etc.
- Ensure that sample targets are being met by effectively utilizing ISR discretionary budget
- Assist our Agents in securing showroom and additional sample orders to meet sample targets and deadlines
- Promote and generate awareness regarding clearance items
- Maintain a call report for all applicable Accounts and Sales Reps activities
- Create and maintain customer profiles, including contact information, client details, key event dates and other information for Target Accounts
- Log and manage programs in assigned territories.
- Provide oversight on large orders ($10K+) that require special handling/production.
- Assist Customer Service when overflow support is required
- Ensure satisfactory resolutions to escalated issues while adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Participate/host video conferencing calls and webinars when applicable.
- Provide training to Customer Service team or Sales agents, when applicable.
**EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**
- Min 3 years experience in a sales role
**SKILLS REQUIRED**:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Ability to communicate and present in digital platforms such as Zoom, Teams, WebX etc.
- Have a desire to make outbound call, including cold calling to find new opportunities to drive revenue
- Strong problem solving, planning and issue resolution skills
- Ability to anticipate problems and resolve issues quickly
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively without compromising quality
- Results orientated; self-motivated and driven to achieve high standards of customer excellence
- Proficient in excel, PowerPoint, Teams (Microsoft Office)
