We are seeking a versatile Inside Sales Representative to join our team. This role will involve not only actively pursuing inside sales opportunities but also providing crucial support to our Outside Sales Manager by preparing quotations and handling inbound calls.
**Position Overview**:
As an Inside Sales Representative at SupplyNow, you will wear multiple hats, contributing to both inside sales and customer support functions. Your primary responsibilities will include identifying and closing inside sales opportunities, preparing quotations, and handling incoming customer inquiries. This position offers a unique opportunity for an adaptable and customer-focused individual to excel in a dynamic sales environment.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Conduct outbound calls to prospects, effectively identifying sales opportunities and promoting our safety products and solutions.
- Assist the Outside Sales Manager by preparing accurate and timely quotations for customers.
- Respond to inbound calls and inquiries, providing product information and assistance.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with existing customers, understanding their safety supply needs.
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Maintain meticulous records of customer interactions and sales activities in our CRM system.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product updates, and competitor offerings.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.
- Follow up on leads and quotes to convert them into sales opportunities.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by sharing knowledge and insights.
**Qualifications**:
- College diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in business or a related field (preferred).
- Proven inside sales experience or a related role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of safety products or experience in the safety industry (preferred).
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and adaptable.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
