Reporting to the controller, the accounting clerk will be responsible for a wide range of administrative and accounts receivable duties listed below.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Support and assist the controller with the daily accounting functions and the monthly/yearly financial statement cycle and reconciliation and account analysis
- Maintain and reconcile all related schedules
- Prepare monthly invoices and issue them to our customers
- Maintain accounting ledgers by accurately posting account transactions
- Post customer payments by recording cash, cheques, and credit card transactions
- Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with both external and internal customers
- Responsible for accounts payable including billing preparation, delivery, and responding to queries
- Reconciles and deposits service and parts receipts, including charge cards, on a daily basis
- Prepares accounts receivable statements monthly
- Files all cash receipt records, check stubs, and bank receipts
- College diploma in related studies
- Minimum of 2 years related work experience
- A complete understanding of full cycle accounting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Ability to set and meet deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Automotive experience is an asset
- Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset
