Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Order Desk / Accounts Receivable Clerk effectively and efficiently manages our wholesale order desk and executes day to day tasks in the Accounts Receivable area and has the following
**Duties and responsibilities**

- Promotes a positive company image by actively engaging with employees, customers, suppliers and the community
- Represents ICS both in and out of the store
- Shares their ideas or observations with Manager in regards to new items or trends in the market
- Answering the main Italian Centre phone line, during primary’s absence or during high volume or peak times of year
- Continuously manages customer database for accuracy during regular customer interactions or during slow times
- Stays up to date of “shorts” and informs customers immediately
- Inputs all Italian Centre Shop orders
- During slow seasons - calls customers to inform them of new products, new price lists and/or seasonal products arriving (for example truffle season)
- Opens mail and distributed accordingly
- Maintains postage machine, including paying vendor
- Follows all policies and procedures within the department
- Presents and maintains a safe work environment
- Communicates professionally and respectfully with all other departments within the store
- Opens all incoming company mail and distributes daily
- Conducts daily reconciliation of cash outs
- Invoicing for all Italian Centre Shop
- Processes accounts and all incoming payments
- Opens new customer accounts
- Compares statements to invoices - investigating any discrepancies
- Files all copies of invoices received
- Escalates any unresolved SMS issues to IT Consultant
- Issues credits
- Inputs paid outs/ marcomm account charges
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
- 1-2 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role/wholesale order desk
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a high degree of professionalism
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to interact with both internal and external customers with tact and diplomacy
- Strong computer skills, word excel etc.
