**ORDER DESK CLERK**
We are currently looking to fill the position of Full Time Order Desk Clerk.
Experience on an Order Desk preferably with knowledge of tools and fasteners in an industrial setting preferred but not required.
**As an Order Desk Clerk your daily tasks will consist of but are not limited to**:
- Co-ordinate orders with Shipping Dept.
- Recommend products to customers that suit their needs
- Assist with showroom displays and equipment by keeping shelves organized, stocked and clean
- Assist customers with loading/unloading merchandise when necessary ( must be able to lift 35lbs repeatedly)
- Will need to demonstrate operational features of products
- Checking stock levels on computer system
- Looking up parts in parts manuals for customers
- Keeping customers up to date with ETA’s on backorders
- Provide alternate products/solutions for out of stock or long lead time items
- Responsible for building strong customer relations
- Friendly, organized, confident, positive, motivated team player
- Familiarity with construction, power tools, hand tools, compressors, air nailers & staplers is essential
- Enjoys sales
- A fast learner
- Capable of working in a fast paced environment
- Capable of multi-tasking while providing the best customer service
- Able to maintain a professional appearance
- Pays close attention to detail, accuracy and completeness
