***Department Overview **:Shipping Team Leader PT
***Job Description**:
Reporting to the department Supervisor, a Team Lead - Shipping is a key player in helping achieve Company objectives by ensuring team members are abiding by Logistics and safety procedures and achieving Logistics goals.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure all shipments are completed on time and accurately each day
- Plan and schedule resources to accomplish the work load
- Work closely with Logistics on all international shipping requirements, freight claims, and other Logistics requirements and responsibilities as needed
- Finished Goods inventory organization and replenishment
- Recommend and implement efficiency improvements
- Challenge and inspire team to achieve results
- Communicate effectively with Order Management and Planning
- Train and develop shipping staff
- Ensure Operating Procedures for Shipping, and other company policies and procedures as applicable, are followed
- Document Corrective Action Requests (CAR), and investigate root cause of CAR’s and implement corrective actions as needed
- Other duties as assigned

**Requirements, Skills & Qualifications**:

- Experience with MAS and SAP preferred
- Preferably have a forklift license and experience with an electric pallet jack
- Computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Acute attention to detail is required
- Self-motivated and able to multitask and manage time in a fast pace environment
- A positive attitude while working with others and ensuring work is performed in a safe and respectful manner
- Abiding by Company guidelines and procedures
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to use critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Ability to use arithmetic to perform production related calculations
- Available to work overtime and weekend shifts when necessary
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

***Basic Requirements**:

- High school diploma or GED
- 2 - 3 years’ experience in a similar lead or supervisory role preferred
