POSITION TITLE**:SALES SUPPORT SPECIALIST**
REPORTS TO: Sales Support Manager
WORK SCHEDULE: Regular, Full Time, Days

**JOB DESCRIPTION**: Reporting to the Sales Support Manager, the Sales Support Specialist will facilitate an efficient and successful sales experience for all customers, dealers, and sales staff.

**POSITION OBJECTIVES**: The objectives of the Sales Support Specialist are as follows:

- Developing and maintaining open communication with customers (includes dealers and sales staff) to achieve the maximum level of customer satisfaction;
- Communicating with customers to address order/product inquiries, assisting with product selection/specification/pricing and facilitating a smooth sales/order experience;
- Notifying customers/dealers/reps of issues concerning orders and provide workable solutions;
- Collaborating with Production to expedite orders and to accommodate special delivery requests;
- Providing list price quotations and net prices based on standard discount terms when appropriate;
- Conducting business and making decisions with a focus on customer satisfaction, sales growth and profitability;
- Initiating requests for SPR’s and SQ’s where appropriate;
- Providing prompt and accurate freight quotes;
- Assisting with order corrections when required;
- Assisting Sales Reps with requests for samples;
- Assisting customers with warranty requests; and
- Perform other duties as required to support Operations, Sales and our customers.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment;
- Must possess a strong attention to detail;
- Must be able to multitask with strongly developed organizational skills;
- Must be very comfortable working with computer systems and automation;
- Must be able to multitask while staying organized;
- Must be able to sit for extended periods;
- Must be able to work independently within a team setting;
- Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills; and
- Must have sound mathematical and problem solving skills.
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**:

- University Degree or College Diploma;
- Minimum 2 years previous Customer Service/Sales experience;
- Knowledge of commercial furniture is an asset;
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite);
- English language proficiency (read/write/speak); and
- Customer focused with excellent phone presence.
**WORK ENVIRONMENT**: To support our entrepreneurial approach, our home office is a mix of open office and manufacturing facility.
