**Position: Administrative Assistant and Social Media Assistant**
Major Tasks:
- Coordinating and organizing One-to-One and Group classes
- Coordinating and maintaining an electronic calendar
- Monitoring the quality of the sessions and following up with students and tutors
- Writing and editing promotional and website texts
- Creating content for Hit the Books’ Social Media presence on Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, YouTube, etc. when needed
Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to handle a variety of tasks effectively
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) and Google Docs
- Ability to effectively work in a team environment and work independently with mínimal supervision
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Results-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
- A positive, friendly manner and customer service approach that will enable you to deal with challenging situations with empathy and sincerity
- Proficiency on multiple Social Media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc)
- Fluent Written/Spoken English is a requirement
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Collegial Diploma
Assets:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Fluency in French
Working Conditions
Status: Contract, Full-Time. This is a 1-year Self-employed contract position with the possibility of renewal OR Permanent employment.
Hours: 35-40 hours per week approximately
Job starts: ASAP
