As our **Fire Shop and Administration Technician**, you will be responsible for completing and supporting inspection, testing and repair work related to fire protection and related equipment. Some of the additional expectations of this role include:

- Inspecting, testing, and servicing fire extinguishers;
- Inspecting and testing fire hoses;
- Servicing life-saving appliances;
- Ensuring timely and quality completion of work orders;
- Completing daily reports of completed work orders and activities;
- Monitoring parts inventory and equipment maintenance requirements;
- Following all safe work practices and safety leadership is demonstrated in all aspects of the job; and
- Participating in on-call/call out emergency service as required.
- Assist in the input shipping and receiving data in the ERP and prepare associated shipping and receiving documents as required.
- Retrieve order lists, product inventory information and order confirmations.
- Sort and place products, parts and supplies on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined warehouse locations in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assist in the maintenance of up to date and accurate filing of documents for incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Conduct cycle counts, bin maintenance, and inventory management reporting to ensure accurate inventory levels.
- Inspect and operate warehouse equipment as per valid certifications and training.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in the warehouse.

- Demonstrate mindset towards continuous learning, as well as an ability to use/learn technology solutions in the execution of their work is a must.
- Ability to operate various power tools and machinery; a strong background in hands-on work.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License
- Ability to travel to and work out of remote client sites. Overtime may be necessary; therefore, flexibility in hours of work will be required.
- Previous experience in fire inspection or a related field would be preferred.
- 3+ years previous experience in fire inspection or a related field would be preferred.
- **NOTE: Combinations of education in a related field and experience will be considered.**
