**Sales Manager**

We are looking for an experienced

**Sales Manager** to join our team and manage Canadian customers. You will work closely with the SVP Retail Sales and broker to ensure the effective execution of our goals, strategies and oversee the progress of projects and new product development. You will also be responsible for managing private label business for major Canadian retailers, supporting the broker, and facilitating their day-to-day requirements and sales needs.

**Primary Responsibilities**

  • Manage private label business for major Canadian retailers, working closely with broker to ensure effective execution of goals and strategies.
  • Facilitate day-to-day requirements of broker and support their sales needs.
  • Oversee the progress of projects and new product development, working with internal supply chain team to execute and flawlessly deliver on all in-house projects for major customers.
  • Set targets and strategies for categories and customers and communicate to broker.
  • Analyze sales data using tools like IRI and other sales analytics platforms.
  • Understand the fundamentals of sales 101.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.

**Required Experience**

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and project management, preferably in the Food Industry.
  • Post-secondary education equivalent to a university degree or college diploma
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient with data analysis and sales analytics tools.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking, creativity, ability to solve problems, teamwork and getting work done through others is required.
  • Strong and proven communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, customer organizations and suppliers.
  • Relationship management, presentation skills are critical.
  • High level of experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook is required. Willingness to learn and engage in the business.
  • Passion for Sales and Bakery/Food Industry.
