Earls Kitchen + Bar is looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to join our People Operations department for a 14-month contract in Vancouver, BC. In this role, you’ll be a key partner in shaping the new hire experience and supporting our people through onboarding, benefit administration, immigration support, and more. You’re highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented; someone who takes pride in creating structure and driving a positive employee experience across the organization. **Role Responsibilities**
- Maintain and update administrative tools, including, but not limited to, employment contracts, Earls' intranet (the Perch), HRIS systems, and contact lists within the People Operations department.
- Support the development, administration, and execution of Head Office onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Support the People Operations Team with research, development, and administration of tools regarding legal and employment law practices.
- Support the troubleshooting of Earls’ Human Resources Information System (HRIS) through the Zen Desk support ticketing system.
- Support with both Canadian and U.S. benefits programs, including monthly benefits admin and open enrollment; cross-train benefit administration to Payroll and People Operations team.
- Create, organize, and maintain best practices for team content and employee files within the team’s Google Drive and network drives.
- Support and maintain the Head Office Health & Safety program by staying informed regarding provincial health and safety regulations, communicating any required changes, and conducting routine audits as required.
- Coordinate and manage communications with operations and head office partners regarding department initiatives, new collateral, and team meetings.
- Support with special projects related to Human Resources as directed by your leadership team.
**Qualifications**
- 0-2 years of experience in Human Resources or office administration, or a combination of relevant education and Earls experience.
- Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple administrative tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to follow through on projects from planning through execution.
- Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with demonstrated experience maintaining digital tools such as HRIS, internal intranets, and shared drives.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly coordinate across departments and create organized, accessible documentation.
- High level of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of work.
- Familiarity with immigration processes, including U.S. visa support, or a willingness to learn and support cross-border HR needs.
- Experience supporting or coordinating employee programs such as onboarding, benefits administration, and Health & Safety initiatives across Canadian and U.S. teams is considered an asset.
- A degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is considered an asset.
- Demonstrated experience in a leadership or office-based role at Earls is an asset.

**What We Offer**
