You will leverage company values, policies, data, and HR processes to support decision making within the Human Resources team.
- Collaborate and partner with internal customers to provide decisions support and accurate employee data.
- Leverage strategic thinking by working closely with HRBP/ HR Manager to support our core value, drive consistency, and mitigate risk.
- Responsible for full cycle recruiting for direct hire manufacturing hourly positions in the plant.
- Responsible for HR department administrative activities and accuracy for manufacturing HR processes.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Create a weekly cadence for managing the Time collection system, communicating with leaders, and entering corrections to minimize impact to payroll and employees.
- Create a daily cadence for managing and approving Workday business processes and data.
- Understands data and business processes intimately to coach OA’s and leaders on how to use Workday to the fullest potential.
- Provides primary coordination and facilitation of new employee orientation for the manufacturing facility where the role resides. Partners with HRBP, leaders and Office Administrators to orient new employees to Harmon’s procedures and policies. Ensure that new employee paperwork is completed accurately.
- Act as a resource for new employees for benefits enrollment assistance.
- Provides input to investigations, working with HRBP/HR Manager, and keeps them informed on all employee relations. Maintain confidentiality and discretion at the highest levels. Contributes on the company culture/engagement surveys and action plans.
- Works closely with HRBP to ensure process understanding and efficiency. Partner with their leaders and HRBP/HR Manager, as needed, to provide feedback on accuracy, productivity, and growth opportunities.
- Works with HRBP/HR Manager to identify and administer multiple recruiting strategies for select hourly positions. Responsible for posting, sourcing, screening, and screening applicants. Interviews and assess applicant’s skills and qualifications and consults with hiring manager for proper approval to hire.
- Maintain the applicant tracking system (ATS) with proper applicant dispositions, communications, and data on job postings for select positions. Work closely with the HRBP/HR Manager to manage requisitions and provide reports.
- Follows business process, procedures, and documents to maintains accuracy. Performs duties in accordance with the business process documentation.
- Participates in Harmon’s continuous Improvement efforts by understanding his/her team’s performance and actively implementing and supporting process improvements.
- Provide insight, data, and decision support through direct involvement in the HR initiatives that impact broader organizational goals and objectives.
- Supports development of learning initiatives by partnering with the L&D team to support organizational initiatives and growth.
- Assists in communicating benefits for new employees and serves as a resource during benefits enrollment, as needed.
- Other duties as assigned time to time.
