The HR Generalist will be in charge of all general aspects of everyday HR activity.

These responsibilities include:

- Recruitment and hiring processes for our HQ and Franchises
- Managing and creating strong corporate culture
- Scheduling of office employees
- HR support for franchises when required
- Development of employee handbook
- Advocating for new HR initiatives to strengthen employee retention
- Development of HR metric systems
- Lead Department Managers through the full cycle recruitment process including the job postings, attending interviews, processing employment contracts, conducting employee on-boarding and open role management
- Handle all administrative tasks for onboarding, new hire orientation, and exit interviews
- Lead HR projects (i.e., Skill Gap Analysis, Merit/Bonus process, DEI Initiatives)
- Develop and coordinate employee onboarding process, communicate and collect payroll information, integration, and participate in the probationary review process
- As the primary point of HR contact, assist all managers and employees with change management, performance management, employee engagement and best practices
- Develop employee engagement initiatives, workshops and trainings, and retention strategies
- Prospecting implementation of the right HRIS system
- 1 year HR Generalist experience (preferred)
- 1 Year Recruitment experience (preferred)
- Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management or related
- Strong working knowledge of HR policies and procedures, Ontario employment legislation and requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact, coach, and build relationships proactively with employees at all levels
- Ability to work independently in a stand-alone position
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- An positive and uplifting attitude
- strong critical thinker
- Strong problem solving, reporting, and analytical skills. Skilled in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Process oriented individual
- CHRP/CHRL designation or in progress is an asset

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-30 per week

**Salary**: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
