**Main Purpose of Job**
By nature, you are a problem solver and excited to learn more about our business processes, creating efficiencies with storing, reporting and integrating data within Salesforce. You have a customer service oriented mindset with an eagerness to learn, grow and develop Salesforce technology across the organization. You work well with different departments and stakeholders in the organization, to understand their needs and provide a solution. You are a self-starter, not having to wait to be given permission to solve a problem.
**Primary Responsibilities**:
- Support administration of Salesforce including fields, layouts, reports, dashboards, and security.
- Identify improvement opportunities to optimize system processes.
- Respond to maintenance and user support requests, troubleshoot system issues and resolve them in a timely fashion to minimize impact on users.
- Evaluating and installing new Salesforce releases, as well as providing training and support.
- Create and maintain training documentation.
- Training for new Salesforce users including process requirements.
- Help promote best practices in Salesforce usage.
- Ensuring optimal performance of Salesforce systems and products.
- Upgrading and configuring Salesforce systems for optimized integration.
- Managing Salesforce roles, profiles, sharing rules, workflows, and groups.
- Maintaining the sales cloud, as well as building custom reports and dashboards.
- Performing database maintenance tasks, including diagnostic tests and duplicate entry cleansing.
- Documenting processes and procedures, including error reports and changes to field history tables.
- Preparing reports for sales and other departments.
- Perform root cause analysis and resolution for all Salesforce Marketing issues.
- Support Marketing department on tasks as required
**Minimum Education/Training & Work Experience**
- At least 2 years of hands-on proven Salesforce administration experience.
- Excellent oral and written presentation and communication skills.
- Solid understanding of basic sales processes.
- Salesforce administrator certification would be an asset
- A Computer Science or other related degree from a relevant College or University.
- Experience documenting and maintaining business, functional, and/or technical requirements.
