**Role Overview**

The Assistant General Manager (AGM) plays a key role in supporting the daily operations and profitability of the shop. Working alongside the General Manager, the AGM helps drive performance, optimize workflow in the body and paint departments, and ensure an exceptional customer experience. This role balances operational oversight with leadership responsibilities, ensuring that company standards are consistently met while fostering a positive, high-performing team culture.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Operational Leadership**
- Support the General Manager in overseeing day-to-day site operations to meet and exceed Simplicity Car Care standards.
- Monitor workflow capacity and scheduling to maximize work-in-progress (WIP).
- Ensure 5S standards are maintained across the facility.
- Review and audit insurance estimates prior to upload.
- Escalate site-level issues or emergencies when required.

**Financial & Performance Management**
- Assist in achieving sales, performance, and cost targets on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
- Support reporting, dashboard updates, and auditing of site metrics.
- Contribute to cost control and profitability improvement initiatives.

**Team Development**
- Lead and motivate staff to consistently deliver a world-class repair experience.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of team members.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching for growth.
- Authorize weekly payroll and commissions when delegated.

**Customer & Stakeholder Relations**
- Resolve escalated customer concerns with professionalism and urgency.
- Build and maintain relationships with appraisers, adjusters, dealers, fleet accounts, and other partners.

**What You Offer**
- College diploma or university degree in Business or related field (preferred).
- 5-7 years of experience in a collision centre leadership role.
- Demonstrated success leading a team in an automotive environment.
- Experience managing P&L responsibilities.
- Proficiency in Audatex and Mitchell estimating systems.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
