As our business is constantly growing, we are currently looking for a **Human Resources Administrator** as an addition to our team.
We are looking for a HR Administrator who will be responsible for any Human Resources administrator as well as being the liaison between the company and our third-party consultant; interested in learning more about the auto body industry, and has passion in establishing connection with people
**Role of a HR Administrator**:
The HR Administrator is a position where you will be ensuring the administrator of HR is being completed; from benefits administration, new-hire administration, payroll and ensuring that employees files are up to date. This position will require travel from one store to another store as you will be assisting store managers with their HR inquiries and concerns.
**Key responsibilities include**:
**Administration and Health & Safety (30%)**
- Responsible for employee personnel files (i.e. information file, benefits enrollment, certification (if applicable), warning notice, etc.)
- Maintain attendance logs, vacation schedules and recording of time entries.
- Completing and filing any WCB claims, reports and documentation.
- Working with store managers in evaluating employees on an ongoing basis as well as yearly performance appraisal process.
- General office duties such as scanning, faxing, filing, laminating, etc.
- Maintaining and administering company group benefits programs that include employee life and health.
- Administering the company’s Health and Safety policy and gathering all resources and/or documentation needed to maintain an up-to-date Health and Safety Protocols
- Ensuring any grants that the company is eligible for are being applied for.
**Recruitment (30%)**
- Responsible for any recruitment for any auto body shop locations and head office location by utilizing any recruitment platforms.
- Providing advise and/or plans for recruitment for directors and shop managers.
**Operational (30%)**
- Working with store manager and third-party consultant to resolve all employee complaints and disputes tied to the facility.
- Establishing connection with employees by doing daily check-in at each shops to ensure health and safety of the employees, both physically and mentally.
- Be the first contact point for any employees-related questions (i.e. policy, payroll, benefits questions, health and safety, etc.)
- Running errands for the shop (i.e. dropping of communication binder to each store, picking up office supplies, etc.)
- Travelling between stores is required.
- Other duties as assigned.
**Payroll (10%)**
- Managing bi-weekly payroll and ensure that any time entries are accurate.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources.
- Flexible and willing to change responsibilities as required.
- Highly organized, quick learner and result oriented.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Able to develop positive working relationships both internally and externally.
- Professional in demeaner, non-political and understand the importance of diplomacy.
- Prior experience of daily check-in with clients is considered as an asset.
- Valid and clean Driver’s License with access to a reliable vehicle to travel between shops.
- Reliable transportation as travel within stores are required.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office.
