The HR Administrator supports day-to-day HR operations and general office administration at our Edmonton, Alberta, location. The role reports into and works closely with the HR Generalist based out of our BC office. _This is an early career role, _best suited for individuals with 1 or 2 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a warehouse or retail setting.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Support administration of the company’s payroll, including collecting & verifying timesheets, entering relevant data, and liaising with 3rd party payroll provider for timely payroll execution.
- Organizes and executes onboarding processes for new employees.
- Support HR compliance with Alberta legislation, assist with policy updates, and help implement legal or policy changes.
- Provide support in the administration of employee benefit programs, including coordinating information sessions, gathering employee data to facilitate enrollment, and ensuring that any updates to employee information are communicated to benefit providers in a timely fashion.
- Coordinating and booking HR management meetings and Health and Safety meetings.
- Support the HR Generalist in the day-to-day HR operations.
- Support the Edmonton office departments as required, filing, sorting, and distributing mail, ordering office supplies, and scheduling office maintenance as requested.
- Prepare HR reports, maintain accurate records, and provide any HRIS-based support as needed.
- Any other tasks as allotted by the HR Generalist.

**Experience, Education, Certifications**
- A Diploma or degree in Human Resources or a related post-secondary field is required.
- 1 - 2 years of experience working in an HR capacity, preferably in a similar environment.
- Administrative support experience.
- Payroll experience - experience with ADP Workforce is considered a strong asset, but not required.
- Experience with HRIS is considered an asset.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Working knowledge of provincial employment standards.

- Excellent judgment with the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to organize and prioritize work. Must be flexible and able to handle multiple tasks at one time and to carry them out with a minimum of instruction and supervision
- Must be able to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $48,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
