Reporting to the Sr. Sustainability Integration Manager, the Sustainability Integration Manager will co-design and lead sustainability programs to drive our insurance businesses and corporate functions to improve performance through better environmental and social outcomes, helping Definity to deliver on its purpose of building a better world by helping clients and communities adapt and thrive. We are seeking an insurance professional with expertise in cross-functional collaboration, relationship-building, and project management who will thoughtfully embed sustainability into our insurance offerings and practices.

- You will help to deepen an organizational culture of sustainability, building a better world by helping our clients and communities to adapt and thrive
- You will collaborate with a wide variety of stakeholders to integrate sustainability across the company, co-designing and implementing programs that drive business results through improved social & environmental outcomes
- You will be a radar for environmental and social risks and opportunities, industry developments, and best practices across the P&C insurance market
- You will help to build Definity’s brand position and commitment by supporting its sustainability thought leadership, communication, and disclosures

**What do you bring to the role?**
- You have a strong interest in developing and delivering programs that create positive social and environmental impact
- You have 5+ years of relevant work experience in a fast-paced and results-oriented environment, including 3+ years of progressive insurance experience in underwriting, claims, or business improvement
- Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation is an asset
- You have experience with employee engagement and change management
- You have proven record of effective project and stakeholder management
- You are a natural relationship-builder and excellent communicator
- You’re a self-starter who takes initiative and drives progress - even in ambiguous circumstances
- You are well-organized, resourceful, efficient, and pay close attention to detail to manage a variety of multi-stakeholder projects and deadlines simultaneously
- You’re an active listener and are open to new ideas, patterns, trends, and connections that support better decision-making and performance

Salary range: $74,100 - $136,500

**Background checks**

This role requires successful clearance of a background check (including criminal checks and leadership references).
