Reporting to the AVP & Head, Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG), the Sustainability Integration Manager will design and lead ESG programs to drive our insurance businesses and corporate functions to improve performance through better environmental and social outcomes. We are seeking a business sustainability professional with demonstrated experience and expertise in cross-functional collaboration, relationship-building, strategic planning, and project management who will embed sustainability practices across the organization in order to fulfill Definity’s commitment to ESG.

- You will help to deepen an organizational culture of sustainability, bringing to life our purpose of building a better world by helping our clients and communities to adapt and thrive
- You will collaborate with a wide variety of stakeholders to integrate sustainability across the company, co-designing and implementing programs that engage our employees and drive business results through improved social & environmental outcomes
- You will be a radar for environmental and social risks and opportunities, industry developments, and best practices across the P&C insurance market
- You will help to build Definity’s brand position and commitment by supporting its ESG thought leadership, communication, and disclosures

What do you bring to the role?
- You have 5+ years of relevant work experience in fast-paced environment, including 3+ years of progressive sustainability / ESG experience
- You are passionate and pragmatic about building a better world - your conviction about the business benefits of better environmental and social performance is as strong as your personal drive to create positive change in the world
- You are a natural relationship-builder and excellent communicator
- You’re a self-starter who takes initiative and drives progress - even in ambiguous circumstances
- You are well-organized, resourceful, efficient, and pay close attention to detail to manage a variety of multi-stakeholder projects and deadlines simultaneously
- You’re an active listener and are open to new ideas, patterns, trends, and connections that support better decision-making and performance
