**Job Description**:
Position Summary:
BlackBerry is looking for a motivated and dynamic Sustainability Manager to drive our sustainability programs and initiatives. The role will be office based, in Waterloo, Mississauga or Ottawa, Canada.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement sustainability initiatives in-line with BlackBerry’s business strategy, sustainability strategy, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).- Maintain, expand and project lead BlackBerry’s carbon neutral status, across scope 1, 2 and 3 GHG emissions.- Use a data-driven, science-based, approach to setting our sustainability goals and measuring our sustainability results.- Lead and manage external requirements for sustainability performance reporting, including customer requirements and sustainability ratings companies’ surveys.- Monitor the sustainability landscape and drive BlackBerry’s positions on and compliance with regulations.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 7 years of proven experience, or a Master’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience.- Relevant knowledge and experience, which includes sustainability common practices and standards.- Strong data and science analytical skills, with the ability to develop programs and initiatives based on the analytics.- Consistent track record in building strong and trusted relationships with clients and partners, based on creative thinking.- A high-performance and high-integrity individual, who is passionate about sustainability and can achieve a strong integration between business strategy and sustainability strategy.
