**Volunteering overview**:
Join us as a Street Promotion Coordinator for Latin American Experience and Carnaval del Sol In this dynamic role, you will supervise on-the-ground outreach efforts and manage street teams to promote the festival. Your leadership will ensure that promotional activities are visible, consistent, and impactful, helping to drive attendance and community engagement.
**Responsibilities**:
- Supervise and coordinate street teams in promotional activities across the community.
- Define daily targets for outreach and promotional efforts, ensuring alignment with daily and weekly promotional goals
- Oversee and keep the promo squad motivated and organized, fostering a positive team environment.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of street-level promotions, making adjustments as needed.
- Ensure that all promotional materials are distributed effectively and represent the festival's brand.
- Communicate regularly with the organizing team to report progress and share insights.
**Qualifications**:
- Strong leadership and management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in promotional activities, marketing, or event coordination.
- Ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Passion for community engagement and festival promotion.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Spanish or Portuguese is an asset.
**Duration**: April 24 - July 23 / 15 - 20 hours per week
