The incumbent is responsible for all organizational aspects associated with Accounts Payables by: 1. Maintains the Accounts Payable sub ledger by setting up new vendors, entering of vendor invoices, and producing payment cheques.

2. Produces manual cheques for one-time purchases.

3. Prepares on line payments such as BC Hydro, Telus, City of Nanaimo.

4. Posts all MasterCard receipts, prints MasterCard statements, reconciles and pays all MC accounts.

5. Reconciles monthly vendor statements.

The incumbent is responsible for all organizational aspects associated with the CATE subledger by:
6. Maintains the CATE sub ledger by setting up new residents, entering of invoices, receiving payments and preparing monthly bank Electronic Funds Transfers.

7. For monthly CATE EFT, sets up new client information including direct debit details, updates monthly charges and prints required reports.

The incumbent is responsible for all organizational aspects associated with MOW program by:
8. Maintains Meals on Wheels program by entering new client information, prepares routes for the day, enters any changes for meals or routes.

9. Prints daily reports such as Meal totals for kitchen, Driver Delivery routes for drivers and Delivery tags.

10. Calculate driver mileage each quarter and issue driver cheques.

11. At month-end, produces MOW meal totals for monthly invoicing, posting of payments and preparing monthly bank Electronic Funds Transfers.

12. Liase with Food Service Supervisor and Volunteer Coordinator to ensure client satisfaction.

Provides Administrative Assistance / Tasks including, but not exclusively by:
13. Assists with year-end procedures such as preparing CATE and MOW accounts receivable aged reports and accounts payable reports for the auditor.

14. Miscellaneous office procedures including typing, filing and photocopying.

15. Performs other related duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Grade XII Graduate. Basic bookkeeping. Minimum two years recent office experience. Minimum one year relevant Health Care related work environment. Working knowledge of QuickBooks, MS Word and MS Excel.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.76-$27.31 per hour

Expected hours: 65 per week
