Albion Marine Solutions provides project management, engineering, consultancy and conversion services to maritime and offshore industries worldwide. We are looking for an in-house Travel and Logistic Specialist to provide travel and logistic support to our team. The Travel and Logistic Specialist will have responsibility for managing the travel and logistic, including active engagement with an international diversified team of personnel, contractors and third parties.
**Reporting**: Report to the Director.
**Location**: Vancouver, BC, Canada.
**Position Type**: Full Time, 6 months contract with possibility to extend
**Requirements**:
- 3 + years experience in travel and logistic management
- 1+ years of experience in GDS systems: Amadeus, Sabre, Travelport
- Superior verbal and writing communication skills. Knowledge of the French language is an asset
- Experience with complex international, corporate and marine crew fares
- Professional & service-oriented mentality
- Ability to receive and place telephone calls and help maintain solid relationships with Clients
- Good personnel management abilities
- Attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Enterprise-level computer platform experience
**Responsibilities**:
- Advise clients on travel options and trip packages
- Make bookings and reservations, prepare tickets and receive payment
- Plan and organize travel for individuals or groups
- Make transportation and accommodation reservations
- Sell single fare tickets and package tours to clients
- Handle logistic customer service as it relates to deliveries and schedules, ordering, tracking, planning, and reporting
- Provide travel advice regarding visa requirements, tourist attractions, foreign currency, customs, languages and travel safety
- Manage routine digital marketing efforts.
- Other duties as assigned
**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months
**Salary**: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
