Position Summary:
The role is designed to elevate the support for these customers, improve our communication and overall service and results. The Specialist will work closely with the Logistics and Coordination team to identify any roadblocks to customer service excellence in such activities as fill rate, SKU rationalization. This role will also work closely with the National Account Manager on areas of the customer contract including compliance.
The Sales and Logistics Specialist role is based in Vancouver.
Essential Functions:
- Serves as a point of contact for customer business and account related issues. Collaborates with all customer resources to present consistent communication and support to the customer.
- Builds long-term customer relationships while meeting short-term objectives.
- Works to ensure contract compliance.
- Execute on GFS business plans based on customer needs, goals, and objectives.
- Included in account reviews and the development of action plans to ensure joint account objectives are being met.
- Understands the customer’s business and priorities.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
- This position requires customer interaction using comprehensive communication skills and the ability to express self verbally.
- Works effectively in teams and displays integrity and honesty to participate and contribute to National and Divisional team efforts.
- Must have good organizational and administration skills with strong attention to detail and ability to follow-up.
- Must be able to execute good time management.

- Laptop computer
- Google Apps (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Drive, Sites, Groups)
- GFS order entry software
