**Job Duties**
- Works, safely and diligently always
- Works with local warehouse management to ensure the scheduling of freight is being done in the most cost-effective manner
- Provides KPI reporting
- Ensures no-surprise culture by identifying potential issues early on and communicating appropriately
- Assists Logistics Supervisor in document control and organization
- Monitor and review daily shipment status to ensure timely shipments and deliveries
- Works with warehouse management to improve processes and transparency across the company
- Receive, review, investigate and report on claims. Acts as the key contact person, working in a timely manner to ensure fast resolution.
- Audit company Cold-Chain program
- Data entry
- Ensures compliance for Canadian and US deliveries
- Audit compliance of warehouse activities against defined guidelines and practices such as verifying outbound shipment compliance to customers in person, at the dock
- Assist in the annual RFQ process
- Acts as a functional backup for the Logistics Supervisor as needed
- Other duties as required.

**Teamwork**
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures and standards for people safety, food safety, quality, cost control, waste reduction and complete and on-time delivery
- Promotes and follows all company and regulatory standards, including but not limited to; Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), Food Safety, Safe Operating Procedures (SOP), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) as required.
- Ensure proper use of the required personal protective equipment.
- Report all safety concerns to a member of your Joint Health and Safety Committee and your Supervisor/Manager
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by Manager.
- Functional Back-up for this role is: (local WH supervisor/manager)

Pay: $48,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

Additional pay:

**Experience**:

- warehouse/logistics administration: 2 years (preferred)
