**Reporting To**:National Sales Operations Manager - Drones & Geomatics
**Location & Working Conditions**:
- This position has the option to be Hybrid **OR** be on a 4-day work week schedule
- This position will be in an Office/ Lab environment
- Regular travel is required up to 50% of the time, this can fluctuate throughout the year
**Accountabilities**:
- Work safely and in alignment with all health & safety regulations.
- Consistently meet or exceed established sales goals for new business development, contributing to revenue growth and market expansion.
- Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients, ensuring ongoing satisfaction, addressing concerns promptly, and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products and services.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring a seamless and efficient process that enhances customer experience and maximizes conversion rates.
- Conduct in-depth demonstrations of our drone products, effectively communicating their features, benefits, and competitive advantages to potential clients, both in-person and through virtual platforms.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences, delivering compelling product presentations and engaging with industry professionals to expand the company's network and market presence.
- Regularly collaborate with the sales manager to discuss the current sales pipeline, strategize on opportunities, and develop action plans to address challenges and achieve sales objectives.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the drone sector to provide informed recommendations and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- Gather and analyze client feedback to inform product development and improve service offerings, ensuring customer needs and expectations are met or exceeded.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status, providing regular reports to management to inform decision-making and strategy adjustments.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support team and organizational goals.
**Required Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities**:
- **Education**:Technical orRelevant Sciences Diploma
- **Languages**: Must be Bilingual in English and French
- **Work Experience & Key Competencies**:
- 2 years of technical sales experience in a related field is a must have
- Aviation or Drone piloting experience would be considered an Asset
- Drone Pilot's License would be considered an Asset, but can be obtained upon hiring.
- Experience with Drones would be considered an asset
- Drivers License is required
- Exceptional organizational abilities, ensuring efficient task management and prioritization.
- Excellent time management skills, maintaining productivity, and meeting deadlines in a dynamic work setting.
- Advanced problem-solving capabilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently and in a team environment to meet or exceed goals.
- Highly tech-savvy, with a keen interest in emerging technologies within the Drones and Geomatics industry.
- Socially adept and customer-oriented, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong client relationships.
