Reception/administrative Assistant

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Answer, screen and forward any incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed in a courteous and professional manner
- Receive and sort daily mail/deliveries/couriers
- Organize and send outgoing post deliveries/couriers.
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, collating, faxing
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
- Maintaining office systems, including data entry and filing;
- Order and maintain stationery and equipment;
**Qualifications**:
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Minimum of 1-2 years administrative experience required.
- Must be team oriented with a positive attitude.
- Personable, reliable, courteous.
- Able to work independently or as a part of a team.
- Strong computer skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Willing to work flexible hours, especially during busy season (early start, some weekends).
- Professional appearance
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise
- Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma
- Ability to analyze data and proactively respond, attention to detail
- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual
- Portuguese is an asset
**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

**Education**:
- Secondary School (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Front desk: 2 years (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 2 years (preferred)
