**About your next** Challenge** as a**_ _**_Fleet Manager_**:
As part of the engineering team, the Fleet Manager will ensure that the aircraft is maintained in an airworthy condition. The Fleet Manager will report to the Section Chief, Engineering department, in charge of the program.
**What You Will Do**:
The Fleet Manager will ensure that the aircraft is maintained in an airworthy condition. To do so, he/she will:
- Be in charge of the maintenance program development and management for line and heavy maintenance events for the aircraft;
- Evaluate the applicability to the program of all OEM Service Bulletins (SBs), Airworthiness Directives (ADs) and provide recommendation to the TA for embodiment;
- Review, assess, and as applicable, develop engineering documentation relative aircraft safety, as well as provide liaison with manufacturers and DND engineering;
- Ensure that the tasks listed in the program are completed within the intervals specified;
- Be responsible for maintaining configuration of the fleet;
- Be responsible for the reliability program for the aircraft to monitor the effectiveness of the maintenance program;
- Prepare and chair reliability meetings to discuss reliability issues and open items from the monthly reliability reports;
- Provide AOG support of line and heavy maintenance groups, and of special projects;
- Perform and/or supervise design and preparation of technical orders for modification and repair of structures and systems;
- Provide support for any modification program required to configure the aircraft for DND’s operational purposes.
